嘉義縣兒童疫苗接種超高效率，5天衝出逾8成接種率！為響應中央免費提供0至6歲幼兒、低收及中低收入戶、照顧型機構快篩試劑政策，強化社區篩檢機制，嘉義縣再增列80歲以上長者，針對以上4大族群全面加碼2劑快篩試劑，6月1日起至6月15日止，民眾可依村里辦公室通知，攜帶身分證、健保卡或戶口名簿等證明文件領取，近6萬人受益。

縣長翁章梁表示，嘉義縣5至11歲BNT疫苗5月25日開打，兒童疫苗接種率從默德納51%，5天內竄升至81.18%已逾8成，感謝家長對防疫識能高度認知與配合，才能用最短時間提升整體學童防疫力。
國內疫情進入社區流行期，快篩已成為民眾自我監測重要工具，響應中央免費提供0至6歲、低收及中低收入戶、照顧型機構快篩政策，翁章梁說，嘉義縣同步加碼每人2劑，低收及中低收入戶每戶2劑；此外考量嘉義縣老年人口數多，特針對80歲以上長者也提供2劑，以上4大族群約計6萬人受惠。
翁章梁提醒，家長應善用快篩自我監測，降低幼童染疫風險，另家用快篩僅可用於2歲以上幼童，從統計數據顯示，唾液快篩的準確度約6成，幼童如出現相關症狀，應儘速至各防疫門診就醫，掌握黃金治療。

衛生局長趙紋華說，中央公布免費提供快篩試劑政策，對象包括0至6歲5劑，民眾須至各快篩實名制販售據點領取，低收及中低收入戶、遊民及列冊關懷的獨居老人等每人5劑將配送到社會局統一安排發放；照顧型機構服務對象及工作人員每人3劑，包括：住宿式長照機構、社區式長照機構、老人福利機構、身心障礙福利機構、兒少安置機構、精神復健機構托嬰中心等，則以每人5劑，由中央直接配送各機構統籌調度運用；另外縣內加碼的2劑，則採至村里辦公處領取方式辦理。
