用路人愛注意 民雄警分局轄區5處交通科技執法陸續啟用

嘉義縣警察局於嘉義縣內增設10處「科技執法」，民雄分局轄區設置共計有五處，設置地點分別為「民雄鄉台1線與中山路工業一路口」、「民雄鄉嘉166線與嘉109線路口」、「民雄鄉台1線與嘉164線路口」、「民雄鄉嘉164線與嘉81線路口」及「大林鎮台1線、中山路路口」。其中「民雄鄉台1線與中山路工業一路口」已開始運作執法，另外4處目前正在積極測試中，預計年底前將開始運作執法。

「科技執法」儀器可針對「超速」、「闖紅燈」及「不依規定左右轉彎」等交通違規，依法舉發。除「科技執法」多功能固定式照相取締交通違規外，為防制交通事故發生，確保用路人安全，警方同時在轄內易超速違規或易肇事之路段及地點，實施移動式測速照相。

交通執法路段及地點分別為「民雄鄉台一線與頭橋工業路口」、「民雄鄉台一線與埤角路口」、「民雄鄉164線與79線(福懋加油站)」、「民雄鄉106線(大學路)與正大路」、「大林鎮中正路與民生路(榮林陸橋)」、「大林鎮南華路(南華大學)」、「新港鄉159線與中洋路口」、「新港鄉164線與大潭路口」、「溪口鄉溪民路與成功路口」等處，機動性執行交通稽查勤務，加強取締重大交通違規，保護民眾之行車安全。
