永康分局上週執行多場安全維護勤務，更於9月23日至25日連續3天實施加強取締酒後駕車專案。
隨著11月各項公職選舉接近，越來越多的造勢活動與廟會遶境舉行，永康分局上週執行多場安全維護勤務，更於9月23日至25日連續3天實施加強取締酒後駕車專案，3天共計取締22件，其中13件移送公共危險罪，9件行政裁罰。

其中24日22時許，越南籍阮姓女子駕駛自小客車行經路檢點，警方見行車軌跡不穩左右搖晃，遭員警攔停盤查，見阮嫌全身酒氣，以實施酒測，酒測值超過法定標準，另外車上還有3名友人也全身酒氣，經詢問是一車4人剛剛從小吃店飲酒後離開欲返家，阮嫌移送及乘客3人開單舉發，好險警方立即差覺，阻止更大的事故發生。

永康分局已於9月23日至9月25日，連續3天擴大取締酒後駕車，同時亦會不定時，擇易發生酒駕違規及肇事的路段、時段，提高執法密度及強度，以保障民眾的交通安全，防制酒駕事故的發生。永康分局分局長甘炎民呼籲，酒駕加重罰早已增訂乘客連坐罰規，共同飲酒之民眾要勸告駕駛勿酒後駕車，切勿與酒駕者同車，以免連帶處罰。
