防治近視！嘉義市啟動護眼計畫  幼兒園大班兒童免費視力檢查

近視是疾病，不可忽視！嘉義市政府衛生局今（29）日舉辦「學齡前兒童護眼愛健康免費專業視力檢查」啟動儀式，由嘉義市副市長陳淑慧、衛生局廖育瑋局長、嘉邑玉皇宮蔡輝弘主任委員、嘉義基督教醫院眼科醫師蔡忠斌、高雄長庚醫院眼科近視防治中心主任吳佩昌醫師等一起為活動點燈，象徵點亮幼童光明視界，吳鳳幼兒園學童帶領全場唱跳「eye眼動起來」視力保健律動歌曲，為活動熱鬧開場。

陳淑慧副市長表示，眼睛是靈魂之窗，防治近視須從小做起。106年國民健康署全國「兒童青少年視力監測調查」，幼兒園大班近視盛行率達9％，小一學童攀升到19.8％，到小二倍數成長到38.7％，小六時更高達七成，孩子的「惡視力」是我們必須正視的議題。嘉義市政府推動兒童視力保健四年(109年-112年)計畫，結合跨部門資源動起來，109年嘉義市率先加入全國健康促進幼兒園試辦的六縣市之一，選定「視力保健」為優先議題，讓近視防治從學齡前期向下扎根。

陳淑慧也表示，嘉義市學齡前大班學童近三年近視率分別為108年5.70%、109年7.40%、110年6.0%，為加強學齡前兒童護眼措施，即日起至12月29日止市府提供幼兒園大班學童至轄內15家合約眼科醫療院所接受免費專業視力檢查服務，幫助學童早期發現視力異常，及早治療矯正，贏得好視力。

陳副市長感謝蔡忠斌等多位眼科醫師長期提供市府視力保健專業協助，也感謝嘉邑玉皇宮的公益善舉，捐贈2500副抗UV護眼罩給學童，解決學童視力檢查過程須點散瞳劑可能造成的短暫性畏光問題，護眼罩將請合約眼科醫療院所於學童完成視力檢查後，代表贈送給學童每人一副，守護好視力。

吳佩昌醫師也特別籲請家長務必重視「近視是一種疾病」，幼童如近視超過500度，日後發生高度近視的機率大，容易引發成早年性白內障、青光眼、視網膜剝離及黃斑病變，甚至有失明風險。他呼籲家長要讓幼童從小儲存遠視力的觀念，就如同孩子在視力存摺中存足款額，才有本錢供日後慢慢提領，他說幼稚園階段應存有一百五十至二百度遠視力，才具有抵抗近視的本錢。他也提到醫學證實，增加戶外活動是視力健康的最佳保護因子，鼓勵家長可多帶孩子到戶外公園綠地活動，運用護眼密碼3010120保護視力，即用眼30分鐘休息10分鐘，每天戶外活動120分鐘並定期接受眼科檢查，才能讓孩子擁有好視力健康快樂成長。

衛生局廖育瑋局長表示，本次免費視力檢查服務對象為就讀嘉義市幼兒園大班學童(出生日期為105年9月1日至106年8月31日)，衛生局已事先造冊由幼兒園協助轉發通知單給家長，請家長事前先向計畫合約眼科醫療院所預約，按預約時間攜帶填妥之「家長通知及同意書」、「兒童健保卡」或「兒童身分證明文件」帶兒童前往院所接受免費專業視力檢查。視力檢查過程會使用短效散瞳劑，點散瞳劑的必要性是幫助排除假性近視，驗出準確視力度數。視力檢查項目包含散瞳前驗光、裸視視力、最佳矯正視力、裂隙燈檢查、散瞳後驗光等，檢查結果由醫師專業診斷，提供兒童及家長視力保健衛教。
