奇美醫：提高治療信心肺癌治療搭配中醫調理可改善副作用

根據衛生福利部統計資料，110年國人十大死因中，惡性腫瘤已蟬聯四十年冠軍，其中，肺系惡性腫瘤更連十八年居冠，同時，肺系惡性腫瘤發生率逐年增加，也位居惡性腫瘤的第二名，僅次於大腸癌。而近年來醫療科技的進步，肺癌的早期篩檢及精準治療提高肺癌的早期發現，也促進死亡率的下降。奇美醫學中心提供腫瘤病人住院化療期間會診及門診輔助，以提高治療信心，還可改善副作用。

現行肺癌常見的現代醫學治療方式包含手術、化療、放療、標靶及免疫治療，根據不同的期別以及特定的基因變異，搭配數個治療方式治療。奇美醫學中心中醫部關懷癌症病友，自96年腫瘤病人住院照護專案，以及108年1月癌症病人整合加強照護專案開辦以來，已照護過千人次，而肺系惡性腫瘤病友佔整體照護人數約12%，次於大腸癌及乳癌。

奇美醫學中心中醫部婦兒科主任王瑜婷表示，多數的腫瘤治療副作用，可藉由藥物調整、止吐藥的使用、營養調整與補充、運動復健的介入、以及生活型態調整等方式改善，但當以上方式對部分病人效果不佳時，若搭配中醫的針藥治療，有機會緩解症狀，甚至增強原有常規療法的治療效果。

中醫門診常見的癌症病人約莫可分為4類，分別是剛確診肺癌但因害怕治療副作用想尋求其他治療方法、剛確診肺癌正在等待治療、已接受一段時間或完成治療而腫瘤治療穩定者、歷經各種治療後反應不佳而想再嘗試其他方法繼續努力的病友。目前奇美醫學中心中醫癌症病人整合加強照護除了改善病友治療期間出現的生理症狀外，亦關切其心理調適與支持，必要時轉介奇美醫學中心社工或心理諮商師，力求身心和諧。
