農曆春節將至，職業賭場又開始活躍，屏東警分局於日前接獲線報，屏東市某市場午後出入複雜，疑似聚賭，立即成立探訪小組連日蒐證，並向屏東地方法院聲請核發搜索票，於本(1)月3日下午見時機成熟，出動大批警力攻堅，當場查獲49歲游姓負責人及賭客等19人以「九仔生」聚賭，現場查扣撲克牌39張、骰子1包、監視器主機1台及賭資新臺幣1萬3,400元等證物，全案依刑法賭博罪移送屏東地檢署偵辦。

該賭場游姓負責人利用下午休市時間藏身於市場內，本以為拉下鐵捲門能掩人耳目，殊不知在午後無人的市場，更顯得可疑。多名賭客見警察到場，嚇得驚慌失措，卻無處可逃，最後將19名賭客全數帶回偵辦。

屏東警分局分局長黄國源表示，112年度加強重要節日安全維護工作於1月1日起跑，警方在春節期間以「治安平穩、交通順暢、民眾安心」為三大工作主軸，為讓民眾安心好過年，強力執行「掃蕩賭博」工作，即希望藉此防範因賭博所衍生的社會治安事件。
