台南市政府警察局卸任、新任局長今(16)日上午在警察局舉行交接典禮，新任局長廖宗山接任調任警政署警政委員的方仰寧，由市長黃偉哲親自監，市議會李宗翰、鄭佳欣、王宣貿、蔡秋蘭、林燕祝、蔡育輝、尤榮智、陳秋宏等多位議員與會觀禮。黃偉哲感謝卸任局長方仰寧的努力，也期勉新任局長廖宗山能憑藉其專才，讓台南市警政工作能夠做得更好。

新任局長廖宗山是中央警察大學第48期刑事警察學系畢業，歷任內政部警政署刑事警察局偵查第八大隊大隊長、警政監、主任秘書、副局長、嘉義縣警察局局長、保安警察第三總隊總隊長、警政署警政委員等重要職務，內、外勤職務歷練豐富，富領導統御及刑事能力，深獲各級長官肯定。

黃偉哲表示，治安維護工作，沒有最好，只有更好，更有賴大家齊心努力，感謝方局長兩年來對於台南市警政工作的付出，也期許新任廖局長接棒之後，維護警務工作的紀律及效能，並與市民朋友共同協力，讓台南市警政工作能夠做得更好。

廖宗山會後接受媒體採訪，媒體詢問對於學甲88槍槍擊案有無進度？局長表示，根據這個案件已有所了解，接下來一定會全力以赴，偵辦到底。他說日前在方仰寧局長等警界同仁的努力追緝下，已陸續逮捕多名要犯羈押，相信會在最短時間內一定有漂亮的成果給大家看。
