關子嶺百年老街 碧雲寺公園 改造完成以嶄新風貌迎新春

關子嶺擋土牆以復古人字砌石及楓葉美化。
關子嶺風景區擁有全臺最早開發、從日治時期就享負盛名的全台唯一天然泥漿溫泉，更曾於2018年獲評為全國十大好湯之首，長年以來都是臺南溪北地區的觀光核心地區；關子嶺風景區內的「水火同源」更名列為全台七大奇景之一，也有大仙寺、碧雲寺、福安宮等知名古剎，寶泉公園、嶺頂公園及大成殿、紅葉公園、關子嶺天梯、好漢坡等，都是關子嶺風景區熱門景點。
柚子頭溪沿線木棧步道翻修並增加夜間照明提升行人安全。
市長黃偉哲非常重視關子嶺風景區觀光發展，指示臺南市政府觀光旅遊局向中央爭取觀光前瞻建設經費投入關子嶺風景區，其中包含水火同源景點的基礎服務設施、景觀風貌及商店店家營運環境改善，以及關子嶺溫泉區百年老街周邊和碧雲公園遊憩環境改善，提供遊客更優質的觀光旅遊環境。加上日前完工落成的關子嶺天梯暨周邊設施整修、寶泉橋露頭邊坡災修整治、新好漢坡步道修建及寶泉橋公園溫泉手湯體驗台等工程，已投入逾億的觀光建設經費來打造關子嶺溫泉區。

臺南市政府觀光旅遊局局長郭貞慧表示，市府觀旅局特別將關子嶺風景區列為建設重點核心地區之一，也是希望能將已有百年歷史的關子嶺溫泉區，打造以溫泉意象為主題的視覺景觀，再度重現往日風華。其中，水火同源周邊環境改善已於111年6月完工開放，接續於溫泉老街及碧雲公園的環境改善工程，於近期也陸續完工開放。包含紅葉隧道口擋土牆以人字砌石呈現復舊風格，並裝設楓紅意象以及關子嶺大字，讓遊客立即進入充滿關子嶺特色的氛圍。以及從閒雲橋到關子嶺大旅社旁的百年溫泉老街，進行整體環境改造，從街道鋪面、牆面、燈具、植栽到街道傢俱等，都強調溫泉老街的懷舊氛圍。也將市道175沿線的木棧步道進行翻修及補充燈光，創造出沿街夜間安全且優美的步道環境。另外，也改善碧雲寺多年前開闢的景觀公園，改善易長雜草的碎石鋪面，解決排水問題，鋪設石板步道及種植適當景觀植栽，打造出富具禪意的庭園空間。
