市長黃偉哲於昨（20）日小年夜晚間在警察局長廖宗山及第二分局分局長朱信憲等陪同下，至第二分局民權派出所慰問同仁工作辛勞。
市長黃偉哲於昨（20）日小年夜晚間在警察局長廖宗山及第二分局分局長朱信憲等陪同下，至第二分局民權派出所慰問同仁工作辛勞，並提醒員警注意身體健康及執勤安全。
市長首先感謝警察同仁們在春節假期努力堅守崗位，提供市民有平穩治安，交通順暢，安心過個好年。鑑於警政署及市府同感員警執勤裝備急需強化，為提升警察執勤安全性，市長同意動支第二預備金4,400萬元，強化各類執勤裝備及訓練設備，此行展示各項新採購應勤裝備(密錄器、行車紀錄器、水柱型辣椒噴霧器、拋射式電擊器【含訓練用卡匣、電擊針卡匣】、臂式防暴盾牌)及提升訓練設備整修竹門靶場、永華訓練中心健身房，並致贈慰問金，以表達市長及市府對全體警察人員的支持與慰問。
