哈密瓜界愛馬仕！嘉義極光上市

有哈密瓜界愛馬仕稱號的「嘉義極光－歐若拉」（AURORA MELON）上市了！嘉義縣政府今（11）日舉辦記者會，縣長翁章梁大聲宣告「嘉義極光」正式開賣，縣議員林緗亭、黃鉦凱、劉雅文、林淑完、姜梅紅等都到場響應，邀請民眾一起來嘗鮮！
農業處表示，「嘉義極光」是縣府千挑萬選的新品種，由翁章梁親自命名，是農友用溫室一株一果細心栽培，果實外觀橢圓飽滿且有翠綠網紋分布，切開來，皮薄肉厚還有淡淡焦糖奶香，吃起來像水梨清脆爽口、甜而不膩，也因培育難度高，收成不易，往往一推出就搶購一空。
縣府公告訂定嘉義極光品牌標章使用規範，須以嘉義縣為產地，採溫室種植，一株一果，上市前須經農藥殘留檢驗合格，甜度檢測14度以上，果實橢圓無裂果與病害等，符合這些條件才有資格說是嘉義極光！為方便消費者識別，嘉義極光腰身都貼有產地輔導單位核發的標章貼紙，如「身分證」般標有編碼可追溯生產農友，每一顆都是獨一無二的瓜中極品！
嘉義極光適合春、秋兩季栽種，秋作盛產期11、12月，雖今年秋作哈密瓜種苗較前期供應量多3倍，種植面積約18公頃，但受高溫暖冬影響，導致瓜形成網紋時，容易出現裂紋過深、過大情形，影響產量和品質，實際收成良率只剩2到3成，整體銷售供不應求。
瓜農呂世能指出，哈密瓜至少要在溫室內70天才能採收，熟度最剛好，甜度與焦糖味才會呈現，也因溫室可阻隔風雨，栽培過程更完善，減少病蟲害也減低用藥，栽種使用微氣候調節系統及滴灌，網紋才會更細緻平均。
翁章梁表示，嘉義極光產期很短，每年春秋各四個禮拜的時間，而且要細心照顧、挑選、包裝出貨，目前訂單已爆滿，想吃還要耐心等候，連他自己想買都要排隊。
實體通路將與全聯福利中心合作，虛擬通路則有東森購物、台灣好農、直接跟農夫買、Rakuten樂天市場等電商平台露出，11月中起在各大行銷通路都可以買到，請上「嘉義優鮮－嘉義極光」官方網站 查詢。
